The Norbertine Fathers arrived on Monday 4 September 1967 and built their Priory. The first wing on the plot to the west of the Chapel, was completed in June 1968.
The Norbertine order serve all three parishes in Masiphumelele, Ocean View and Kommetjie from the Norbertine Priory in Rubbi Road, Kommetjie.
